Jeannette Rechsteiner-Baur - Certified Fibromyalgia Advisor® and Coach®*

Today, I live a fulfilled, happy life and I'm no longer just "surviving." 🌟 My fibromyalgia is sustainably managed, and I am in remission for several month now. 🌿 I am incredibly grateful for this 🙏 and proud of myself. 💪✨ I want to show you that every step counts – you too can find your own strength and take your path toward improvement. You are not alone! 💛

As a mother of three and a business economist HWV / financial analyst, I know how challenging it can be to navigate the daily balancing act between family, career, and personal well-being. Especially with fibromyalgia, it’s not always easy to manage one’s energy wisely while still embracing life to the fullest. But that’s exactly where the true art lies: unlocking your potential, treating yourself with care, and never losing sight of the joy in life.

💖 My heart’s mission is to support you on this journey and help you regain your strength.

By the way, I would be absolutely delighted to also support men on this journey! 🌟

Discovering new perspectives, enriching life with small joys, and finding the courage to face life's challenges with a smile, even in difficult moments – because especially in tough times, it’s important not to lose our sense of humor and to keep the joy of life alive. 😊

As a Certified Fibromyalgia Advisor® and Certified Fibromyalgia Coach®, I want to help you ease your daily life, find ways to alleviate your symptoms, and improve your quality of life. 🌿

From my own experience, I know how challenging it can be to live with fibromyalgia – and almost always, additional diagnoses like ADHD, Hashimoto, irritable bowel syndrome, and others are added. However, I firmly believe that an active and fulfilling life is still possible! 💛 With my knowledge and compassionate support, we will find ways together to help you feel better and create a life with more ease and joy. ✨ You are not alone – and you are stronger than you think! 💪

My life's struggle

My loving husband Markus 💙, our three wonderful children, and I live in a small village north of Zurich in Switzerland. Markus encouraged me to take the step into self-employment, and he wholeheartedly supports me. He is not only a co-founder of Fibromyalgia GmbH but also contributes valuable scientific insights as a biotechnologist.

My life has always been shaped by challenges, and fibromyalgia has been a part of it for over 30 years. Many flare-ups—sometimes long and exhausting, sometimes brief but intense—have marked this journey. The most recent severe flare-up lasted from the fall of 2022 to the fall/winter of 2023. In June 2023, I finally received the diagnosis! From that moment, I began to dive deeply into understanding the illness. Through a targeted change in my lifestyle, diet, and the right medication, I regained joy and stability.

In January 2024, I decided to pursue a certification as a Certified Fibromyalgia Advisor® and Certified Fibromyalgia Coach® at the International Fibromyalgia Coaching Institute, LLC® in the USA. In July 2024, I earned my first diploma 🎓 and completed my coaching diploma in summer 2025. In March 2024, I was also diagnosed with ADHD—a pivotal moment that explained why my fibromyalgia had gone undiagnosed for so long.

Through my own experiences, I can deeply empathize with others, understand their concerns, and offer the best support possible. I am compassionate, honest, and direct. My life has changed—having a traditional office job is no longer an option for me. To support myself financially while making a positive contribution, I founded NPO Services GmbH with the aim of supporting and empowering non-profit organizations.

My big goal is to raise awareness of fibromyalgia in Switzerland 💜. Since spring 2024, I have been actively involved in the board of the Swiss Fibromyalgia Association, focusing on the concerns of German-speaking Switzerland.

Why did I choose a peacock feather as part of my logo, rather than the butterfly, which is often used in the fibromyalgia field?

Originally, a butterfly was also included in the logo, but the marketing experts insisted on just one symbol. I had to make a decision. Both symbols are part of me—I have them as tattoos, which I got after my fibromyalgia diagnosis. The peacock feather has a special meaning for my journey and is also meant to serve as a powerful symbol for my clients. In many cultures, it represents strength and transformation. Here is a small excerpt from its meaning:

Spiritual Meaning of the Peacock Feather
Since ancient times, the peacock feather has symbolized creativity, renewal, and self-actualization. It transforms negativity into positive energy and stands for rebirth and the overcoming of limitations.

As a visible part of the peacock’s body, it embodies pride and beauty, opens us to new experiences, and helps us recognize beauty in everyday life. In rituals, it promotes new perspectives and strengthens inner power and courage—especially in difficult times.

🌿 Openness – Readiness to show oneself.
🛡️ Protection – A found peacock feather can bring comfort.
✨ Uniqueness – Its beauty emphasizes our individuality.
🎨 Creativity – Promotes creative and productive energy.
🍀 Luck – A symbol of prosperity and protection.

Delicate yet powerful—the peacock feather is a symbol worldwide of new beginnings, adventure, and inner transformation. 💙
