Client Testimonials 💬✨

“I met Jeannette about a year and a half ago when I was looking for help during a very difficult time in my life. To this day, I have never met anyone else who is as knowledgeable and well-rounded when it comes to fibromyalgia – and I say that after a personal journey of at least 17 years with the condition and numerous experiences with doctors telling me, essentially, ‘According to your diagnosis, you shouldn’t be having these symptoms.’
After managing to function reasonably well for years despite – and with – my diagnosis, I hit a wall in the fall/winter of 2024 and went into a severe flare. I had almost given up on myself. But that is not a good option, so I started looking for help – and, as I said, I found Jeannette.
THANK GOODNESS!!!
By now, even SVA Zurich (Note from Jeannette: the cantonal social insurance authority responsible for disability insurance and other social insurance benefits) and my doctors have recognized that Jeannette does far more for people with fibromyalgia than simply listen to them and hold their hand. She offers practical advice on helpful aids and tools, provides information about medications that are not yet widely known or used in Switzerland in the context of pain management and that can be discussed with treating physicians, and encourages taking breaks and allowing enough time for rest.
Despite having fibro, I tend to be rather hyperactive and I am a perfectionist. She talks about possible connections with nutrition – which really do make a difference for me – and explains many physical and psychological aspects related to fibromyalgia.
No, I am not developing dementia – it is my overloaded brain, and it is called brain fog, which is made even worse by my ADHD! When my visual perception changes, it is not because I suddenly need stronger glasses. For me, it is a sign that a flare may be starting, just like difficulty finding words or feeling unsteady on my feet – and that means I urgently need to take a break.
Sometimes I simply cannot tolerate having people around me – even though I work in a helping profession and genuinely love my job. This is related to my heightened sensitivity to external stimuli and to the emotional energy of other people – something that is both one of my strengths and, at the same time, one of my biggest weaknesses.
I may not be able to explain my condition to everyone, but thanks to Jeannette, I understand it – and myself – so much better now!
And just a few days ago, my psychiatrist – I have several health issues to deal with – told me that she intends to state explicitly in a report to my health insurance company how much Jeannette’s coaching has helped me and that reimbursement of the costs, or at least partial coverage, would be highly advisable. If that doesn’t show that Jeannette’s coaching is making an impact, I don’t know what does!
Thank you, Jeannette, for helping me so much with your coaching during such a difficult time in my life!!! I am sure we will continue to walk part of this journey together – whether through coaching or one of your workshops, which are absolutely AMAZING!!!”

"I was skeptical whether working with a fibromyalgia coach would bring enough benefit to be worth the cost. I had been dealing with fibro for a long time before I encountered this option, and had figured out a lot through my own research, life hacks, and trial and error.
But for even the most determined and diligent person, the process can be exhausting, and at times, discouraging.  I wondered if a specialized coach could help me work my way through the many things left to try, with greater clarity and efficiency than I could do on my own.
Jeannette did not disappoint. Working with her saved precious spoons, gave me access to the most comprehensive, up-to-date information on different treatment options, for both root causes and symptoms -- including some possibilities I hadn't even known to ask about -- and helped me move forward, faster.
What's more, Jeannette understood my situation: as a mom and spouse; as a person with a life's calling that I neither wanted nor could afford to forgo; and, as it turned out, as someone with a neurodivergent brain (which she has too). She collaborated with me in a way that both worked for me in the moment, and helped set me up for higher functioning and improved quality of life going forward.
Jeannette's deep knowledge base, her compassion born of lived experience, and her flexibility and attunement to the individual client -- all of these make her an excellent coach. For me, the investment in coaching paid off.”

"I decided to hire Jeannette as my fibromyalgia coach because I had hit a wall in my treatment and her own experiences with fibro really resonated with me. I'd been diagnosed with fibromyalgia about a year before and now I realize that it had been going on much longer than that. But I had only made so much progress after that diagnosis with my doctor and I wasn't willing to accept that this is just how it's going to be for the rest of my life.
Jeannette was exactly what I needed - she helped me improve enough that my brain works well enough again to advocate for myself. But while it didn't work she was my guide and pushed me to do things that advocated for myself with my doctors, but also helped me realize how much pressure I was putting on myself and helped me find some ways to relieve that pressure in my personal and professional life.
All of the little things she suggested led to a big change. I still have a ways to go before I consider myself in remission, but I can't thank her enough for giving me back my brain and getting me out of the flare I'd been in months. I would never have made this much progress on the fatigue and brain fog without her.“

“I had the opportunity to meet Jeannette in the summer of 2025 and decided to start coaching with her. She gave me many helpful tips on how to manage fibromyalgia and showed me how to live better with my condition – especially in the areas of nutrition, self-care, and different therapy approaches. Jeannette has extensive knowledge when it comes to fibromyalgia.
After nine sessions, I was able to put many of her recommendations into practice, and it has truly been worth it. I am feeling significantly better today, mostly pain-free, and finally able to enjoy my life again.
I can wholeheartedly recommend Jeannette and thank her from the bottom of my heart.”

"When I started coaching with Jeannette, I had only been diagnosed with fibromyalgia for a few weeks. I was completely overwhelmed by the symptoms and the new situation. From the very beginning, Jeannette gave me confidence with her positive and empathetic approach, and it was incredibly important to have someone like her as a coach. She listened, supported me, and provided valuable knowledge and guidance on all questions related to fibromyalgia. Her personal experience, extensive knowledge, and openness to various treatment methods were invaluable. Coaching offers a significant added value compared to medical advice, as most doctors’ knowledge about fibromyalgia is very limited.
Shortly after my diagnosis, I began educating myself about the condition. I would recommend this to everyone, as long as the necessary resources are available. This way, you can bring your own points into the coaching sessions, which in my view makes them most productive. After 15 sessions, I had reached a point where I felt confident continuing on my own, at least temporarily. I know, however, that I can reach out to Jeannette anytime for further coaching."
Male client, Switzerland🇨🇭 / October 2025

"I have been living with chronic pain for many years. It was only a few years ago that I was diagnosed with a chronic pain condition. Since then, I have been well supported both medically and psychologically. I have learned how to cope with the pain.
When I was recommended coaching for people suffering from fibromyalgia, I responded with curiosity: "Why not?" And yes, the coaching has brought fresh wind into how I deal with the symptoms.
Jeannette has a very sympathetic way of offering her support: she talks about herself and her symptoms, what she has researched and tried. She appeals to the hope for a better life with the illness and encourages trying new things. Valuable medical recommendations should ideally be coordinated and evaluated with the treating doctors, and many complementary approaches should, if necessary, be thoughtfully tested.
The American background of the coaching is certainly interesting, but it should be viewed calmly and with distance.
Last but not least, the joy-amplification effect is Jeannette's strength, and it has a lasting impact! The coaching has been an enrichment for how I deal with chronic pain, and Jeannette has been a ray of sunshine in the emotional whirlwind of the illness.
With all my heart THANK YOU." - Elisabeth, Switzerland 🇨🇭

Jeannette has helped me to adopt a different perspective on fibromyalgia: “It's there, but it can be managed”. Jeannette provides very intensive support with all her specialist knowledge and, above all, with her own experience. She listens, gives immediate feedback and is always available. And you can also laugh with her. An all-round enriching experience." - Nanette, Switzerland 🇨🇭

“I wanted to take a moment to share how much I enjoyed meeting Jeannette. She was incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely interested in hearing about my fibromyalgia journey. ” – Michele, America  🇺🇸

“Jeannette has been a great coach for me. She is compassionate and fun, but also serious when it’s needed. She welcomes my thoughts and questions while sharing her knowledge with me. I am grateful for how she has been intentional in getting to know me to be able help me. I have been so encouraged by our time together!!” - Susy, Colombia  🇨🇴
